It says what I can confirm about the part, and it says what I cannot.

The three bad options

A Cat machine goes down. Then what.

The Cat dealer

A new pump can cost more than the machine has left in it. Often it is on backorder.

The machine sits, and it is not earning.

eBay and MachineryTrader

Brokers, stale listings, parts that turn out not to exist. Nobody checks the fit against your serial number.

Days of false leads and due diligence.

The local salvage yard

He has the part. He answers the phone when you are on a forklift, and he will not confirm fitment.

Phone tag, and no answer in writing.

USCATPARTS

The part is in my hands. I check your model and serial number, then send one delivered number, signed.

One email, inside two hours.

The part everyone is afraid of

On used fuel injection the fear is real. A pump or an injector set can be dead, and you find out after the labour is spent.

So most buyers overpay for new rather than take the risk. I cannot make that risk zero, and I will not pretend to.

What I can do is tell you where the unit came off, what the casting says, what I saw, and what I did not test. Before you spend a cent.

The moment this company exists for

Your own serial number, read back to you.

Not a listing. Not a price plus shipping. One document with your machine in it.

the unknowns, said out loud

Used · my note

I pulled this one off a 320D that came in with a hydraulic failure. The engine ran when it arrived. Casting number matches the plate.

I cannot confirm flow or pop pressure. It has not been on a test bench, and I will not tell you it has.

The shelf

Four families. All of it mine.

I buy these, I hold these, I ship these. If it is not on the shelf I say so, and I tell you the day it lands.

A used diesel fuel injection pump on a steel workbench

Fuel injection pumps

Around $2,000 USD all-in

The part the whole trade is nervous about. So it gets the longest note.

A used diesel fuel injector laid on a concrete floor

Fuel injectors

Around $500 USD all-in

Sold as singles or as a set, with the machine it came off written down.

A used excavator hydraulic piston pump standing on a concrete floor

Hydraulic pumps

Quoted per unit

Model and serial range matter here more than anywhere. I check both.

A used Caterpillar 3126 diesel engine sitting on a wooden pallet

Used engines

Around $4,000 USD all-in

Heavy freight, priced to your address or to your forwarder in NY or NJ.

From the yard

Photographs, not catalogue art.

Every picture below is the real thing under real daylight: the machines these parts come off, and the parts as they actually sit. Nothing here is a stock image of a part like the one you would get.

A used Caterpillar 3126 diesel engine on a wooden pallet
Cat 3126 on the pallet. Turbo, injection pump and filter housings still on it, dirt and all.
A used Caterpillar D9R track-type tractor with dozer blade
D9R track-type tractor. Heavy hydraulic and undercarriage parts start life on a machine this size.
A used Caterpillar D8R track-type tractor with the ripper fitted
D8R, ripper still hung on the back. The model and serial on the plate is what I quote against.
The rear of a used Caterpillar D9R showing final drives and counterweights
Same D9R from behind. Final drives, rollers, idlers: this is where the numbers get read off.

How it works

Four steps, no phone tag.

  1. 01

Tell me the part, or tell me the symptom

Read me the number stamped on the casting if you can reach it. If you cannot, describe the machine and what it is doing. Knowing part numbers is my job, not yours.

  2. 02

Give me the model and the serial number

This is the one thing the other sellers never ask for. It is the whole difference between a listing and an answer.

  3. 03

Get one all-in price, in writing

Part, packing and freight to your address, in a single number, with a date it is good until. Inside two hours, in the hours stated.

  4. 04

Pay by card, then watch it leave

A hosted checkout page, and then a photo of your part packed on my floor with the tracking number under it.

All four steps run here now: the request form, the written quote and the card payment. Email works too, and the answer is the same one.

Behind the counter

I would rather lose the sale than sell you a pump that will not fit your machine.

Dame DieyeUSCATPARTS · Jersey City, NJ

Every quote is drafted against my own stock list and approved by me before it reaches you. The price is mine and the fitment call is mine.

If your serial number rules the part out, that is what the email says first, and it names the part number that does fit.

I answer in English or in French. I am twenty minutes from Port Newark, so if you buy through a forwarder the paperwork starts the same day.

Tell me what you're chasing.

Four lines in an email is enough to get a real answer tonight.
